This guide will walk you through setup, troubleshooting, and best practices to ensure your diffuser works perfectly.

Aroma-link App Setup
For diffuser models:
SMI Diamond 500, SMI 801, SMI Radiant, SMI 2000, SMI 3500
- Download the Aroma-link App from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android)
- Plug in your diffuser and ensure it's powered on

Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the app on your phone.
- Tap on BLUETOOTH.

You will hear a beep from the diffuser once connected
You must be standing near you diffuser to connect your phone to it or to make any adjustments to the settings.
- Follow the prompts. Then enter password 1234

Scent Marketing App Setup
For diffuser models: SMI 701, SMI 301
- Download the Scent Marketing App from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android)
- Plug in your diffuser and ensure it's powered on

- Open the app on your phone.
- Tap on BLUETOOTH

You must be standing near you diffuser to connect your phone to it or to make any adjustments to the settings.
- Follow the prompts. Then enter password 8888
- ADDITIONAL TIP: With the front door open ensure the switch indicates your power source. Ie; make sure it says batteries is you are using batteries. If still not working, check your batteries or power source.

Q: How do I know which app to download?
A: Click here to select your diffuser model and jump to your diffuser's setup instructions.
Q: How do I control the diffuser settings?
A: All Bluetooth diffusers are controlled via mobile app (available for iPhone and Android). You can adjust scent intensity, set schedules, and monitor oil levels directly from your phone. View the easy-to-follow video provided for your bluetooth setup
Q: My diffuser won't connect to the app. What should I do?
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
- Be sure to be standing close to the diffuser
- Make sure the diffuser is plugged in and powered on
- Close and reopen the app
- Restart your phone
- Unplug the diffuser for 30 seconds, then plug it back in
- Delete and reinstall the app if issues persist.
Q: How long does the scent last?
A: Scent duration depends on your programmed settings and the bottle capacity. A 100mL bottle typically lasts approximately 30 days with standard settings.
Q: Do I need to use SCENTFLUENCE oils, or can I use other brands?
A: You can use any scent oils designed for cold-mist nebulizing diffusers. Make sure the oil is compatible with this type of diffusion technology.
Q: Can I move the diffuser to a different location once it has oil in it?
A: Yes, but you must keep it upright at all times during the move. We recommend removing the oil bottle first, then moving the unit, and reinserting the bottle once it's in the new location.
Q: The app shows my diffuser is offline. What does this mean?
A: This means the app cannot detect the diffuser via Bluetooth. Check that:
- The diffuser is plugged in and powered on
- You are within Bluetooth range
- No large obstacles are blocking the signal
- Your phone's Bluetooth is enabled
Q: How much scent oil will I need?
A: The amount you needs varies dependent upon your chosen diffuser, it's range, and the settings you select. High intensity and long hours use more scent. While Scentfluence scent oils pre-diluted for optimal scenting outcome, they are highly concentrated — meaning, a little goes a long way.
- One 8oz bottle will likely last 6-8 weeks on normal average daytime settings used every day.
Q: Do I need to add water when filling my diffuser?
A:Scentfluence diffusers are waterless nebulizers. Adding water is not advised. Our scent oils are pre-diluted. Adding water will not be best for your scenting experience.

Manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use are covered by our warranty.
What's NOT Covered
Damage caused by improper handling is not covered and cannot be refunded.
This includes:
- Tipping, flipping, or turning the diffuser on its side with oil inside
- Damage from falls
- Oil spills due to improper installation or handling
- Failure to follow setup instructions
- Use of incompatible oils or cleaning products
